Coffee is one of the world's most popular drinks with 400 million cups of coffee consumed daily in the United States. Furan is a heteroaromalic compound that is used as an intermediate in the production of many chemical compounds. Furan, formed during coffee roasting, is known to be toxic and carcinogenic, which leads this project to focus on the analysis of furan contents in K cups.
