Glow sticks can serve as alternative light sources in homes in underwater diving and for emergencies. They also are a common toy for children, coming in different shapes and To glow, glow sticks utilize chemistry by combining two substances that interact to fluoresce. Due to this nature, glow sticks include many chemicals that can be harmful or toxic. In the hands of children, the accidental ingestion or release of these chemicals onto the skin can be dangerous. This project analyzes samples of glow sticks to properly assess whether there are any toxic chemicals present
