Biofilm

This project’s objective is exploring where biofilm cultivate by collecting textile/plastic marine debris wash up at three locations varying in salinity.
Of the three locations which one possesses more wash up debris?
Do textiles or plastics contain more diverse bio-fouled communities?
The focus is on identifying the biota on the debris. The overall affect biofilm may potentially have on our environment as it crosses into the dangers of introducing NIS could be threatening.
